Style InspectorThe style inspector shows you all the available properties for the current rule. Properties used in the current rule are sorted to the top of the list and are colored blue.
The value column to the right of each property displays a dropdown list of values you can assign to the chosen property. Note that this list does not include all allowed values - many properties accept length (12pt, 1.5em, etc.), percentage and other values that aren't appropriate for simple dropdown selection. (Note: the inspector in the full version of TopStyle includes context-sensitive CSS help - simply click in the value column next to the desired property and hit F1 to display detailed help for the selected property.)
At the top of the inspector is a dropdown which enables you to filter the list of properties by group. This is especially useful when the active CSS definition contains a large number of properties, as is the case with "CSS Level 2".
The display at the bottom shows a preview of the current style using an embedded copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Important: The inspector only displays properties and values that are supported by the Active CSS Definition.
